Did you know that House Centipedes are GOOD! If you find or come upon seeing them or even just one around your home, it's a positive and good thing. Now I know what you're thinking - That thing is the creepiest creature I've seen in my home yet - I agree. However, having them around your home can actually give you peace of mind, because they're presence means that they are taking care of any bad bugs it finds -- like termites, cockroaches, silverfish, ants, spiders -- as well as bed bugs. I'll tell you a short story....I was in the kitchen one day, home alone, singing away....I went to the sink for something and saw one for the first time! I screamed and leaped a few feet off the ground and backwards....then quickly calmed myself and went back to look closer. I was shocked to see such a site - when I already have aracnaphobia (fear of spiders). It was quite ugly looking - almost like a normal centipede that bread with a spider to get the long lets or something, lol. Anywho, after I looked for a few seconds - It started trying to climb the stainless steel sink walls which completely freaked me out! It looked like a whole party of spiders linked together!!! So creepy when it moves. Once I could see it was trapped in the sink and couldn't go anywhere, I quickly ran to get my camera and I videoed this thing. Video to come...
